The Restore Network invites you to join us at one of our monthly Foster & Adopt 101 workshops designed to provide basic information to individuals interested in learning more about foster care and adoption. During the workshop, you will learn more about the needs that exist within the foster care system and the vision behind the Restore Network's community and church partnerships.
By the end of the workshop, you will learn about the licensing process to become a foster or adoptive family and what supports the Restore Network can offer you. In addition, you will learn all the ways you can volunteer and use your gifts on one of our support teams.
These workshops are held monthly in each of our county locations. Feel free to join us at whichever location best fits your schedule. We hope to see you there!
We invite you to join The Restore Network as you continue your foster care journey. The Restore Network is a group of local churches working together to serve vulnerable children in foster care, and we would love to support every foster family in our counties!
Support teams for Restore Network foster families vary by county but can include:
-Meals Team: Meals are provided when a child is first placed in the foster home and for times of crisis.
-Work Team: This team is available for small home maintenance tasks (mowing, yard work, etc.).
-Clothing Team: This team will shop for the child's most urgent needs when a placement is made (clothes, diapers, etc.).
-Support Group: We offer monthly Support Group meetings for foster and adoptive parents.
-Tutoring Team: We have tutors available for students who need academic help.
-Events: We organize periodic events for foster and adoptive families (Parent's Night Out, Christmas Party, Back-to-School Bash). Check calendar for upcoming events.
-Prayer Team: This team meets in small groups and on their own to pray over needs that are updated regularly.

-Madison County ReSource Closet: We store new and used childcare items that are free for families to pick up at Emmanuel Free Methodist Church (3993 Fosterburg Road, Alton, IL 62002). For more information, call Emmanuel at (618) 258-7244. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 10am-4pm.
-St. Clair County ReSource Closet: We store new and used clothing and childcare items that are free for families to pick up at The Journey Metro East Church (200 Dapron Dr, Belleville).
